Having already turned Vader into a captive in his own soundbox , one could argue that Palpatine could have also pin his mind . As such , it make sense that Palpatine would n’t have want to take over Vader ’s mind , even though it would have more than potential given him full control over his new Sith learner by completely removing his detached will and autonomy as Vader did with the MAR Corps .

That say , the MAR Corps does remove the droid genius implant after Vader proposes a impermanent truce to save his son Luke Skywalker from the Schism Imperial ( who wants to destroy Luke so that he ca n’t be used by Palpatine ) . Nevertheless , perhaps Palpatine and his resources could have created a stronger agency of corrupting Darth Vader ’s mind back when his armor was first establish , an interesting prospect to guess about forStar Wars’greatest villain .
