HBO ’s murder tv drama , Game of Thrones , has had its fair share of rulers throughout the seasons . From lawful skillful Tommen to chaotic evil Joffery , the alignments of each ruler varied drastically and left Westeros at the mercifulness of each upcoming coronation . This article takes a look at the alignments of each ruler at a holistic level because many rulers have shifted alignments throughout the seasons of the show .

Renly Baratheon: True Neutral

Though his reign ended rather prematurely , Renly was a true neutral drawing card , because his character role was to be the midway option between his two brother , Robert and Stannis Baratheon . Renly ’s leadership was n’t full developed do to his former dying in the show ’s story , but watcher could sense he was a genuine neutral through his machinate decisions to take over the Iron Throne .

Viserys Targaryan: Chaotic Neutral

Called the " Beggar King , " Viserys was a swayer in his own right field . That said , he was n’t much of one . In his efforts to develop an army to reclaim the Iron Throne , Viserys did whatever he could to benefit from the evolving game of thrones . From sell his sis to the Dothraki and attempting to slip his sister ’s dragon testis , it ’s clear Viserys only truly thinks of himself and what would ameliorate his own position .

The Night King: Chaotic Evil

The Night King is an antagonist to the overarching secret plan ofGame of Thrones . His alignment is chaotic wickedness because he will do whatever it takes to accomplish his mission of destruction , whether it be melting the Wall or make White Walkers .   This character holds no regard for the rules of Westeros nor the character that reside there . He has a mission and he will carry through it no matter the consequences .

Joffrey Baratheon: Chaotic Evil

Arguably the most infamous ruler of Westeros , Joffrey Baratheon is a notoriously helter-skelter malign character . The firstborn of Cersei ’s sons , Joffrey ruled once Robert Baratheon die and post Westeros in a tailspin with his childish caper , self - ish nature , and murderous tendencies .

Joffrey ’s determination - making attainment were   barbarian cards that almost always   terminate in a   character ’s execution .

Robert Baratheon: Neutral Good

The King of Westeros at the start of the show , Robert Baratheon did his expert to sail through the political system of Westeros . He sought to do good but was n’t afraid to break off a few jurisprudence here and there . Overall , Westeros coast by during Robert ’s reign . While it was n’t a particularly exciting sentence in Westeros politics , the country was dependable .

Aerys II Targaryan:

The " Mad King " , Aerys is know as a helter-skelter malefic fictional character . gone before the show ’s narrative , news report of the Mad King repeat in the castle walls of King ’s Landing as he not only was a tyrannical ruler , but he also had a knack strain incorporating Wildfire into his battles . So much so , that he would cauterise his own subject alive .

Tommen Baratheon: Lawful Good

A meek character , to say the least , Tommen was arguably the least corrupted of his family , but that could be because he was a son with modified life-time experiences . Tommen tried to see the best in everyone and surveil the rules as King ,   but once his female parent explode fleeceable fire and murdered Margaery , Tommen take for his liveliness unlivable and jump from a castle window . Thus , his sovereignty was ended prematurely , so audience were not   able to see what his being would have been like had he grown into an adult .

Cersei Lannister: Chaotic Neutral

Cersei Lannister is one of the most ambitious rulers of Westeros .

While Cersei has grow as a ruler , from lose her children , the admiration of her subjects , and her symbolic whisker , her alignment remain the same , because she will do anything in her power to benefit for the evolving government of Westeros .

Euron Greyjoy: Chaotic Neutral

Euron Greyjoy is entirely in the show to benefit himself . He wants to be a ruler , but to say he ’s king . He holds no regard for the oecumenical world of Westeros or even his own family unit , as can be escort through his toxic fundamental interaction with Theon and   Yara . Once Euron fix his sights on something he desire , he will do whatever it take to achieve it , legal or not .

John Snow: Lawful Good

Jon Snow , one of the show ’s main protagonists , was crowned King of the North . Jon ’s alliance is very virtuously sound . He sticks to what he believe to be the right affair and he accompany the laws of society so as to fulfill his chore , even if that mean bending the knee . Jon Snow ’s morality were the most highly-developed of any character and overall strengthened him s a leader and ruler .
