Varron takes the guise of Shirley ’s ex - husband and starts to terrorize her .

When the United Planets claim over the Green Lantern Corps , they take in newfangled recruits to help take the ranks . One such recruit was Varron , a cruel Durlan who only became a Lantern due to the United Planets ' loss leader attempting to mollify Varron ’s influential father . Varron took an immediate disfavour to John Stewart , but their rivalry was trend short after Varron waskilled by the Radiant Deadand his quicken corpse join their ranks . The Radiant Dead convey Varron ’s hate for Green Lanternand what remained of Varron torture Stewart and promised to bring hell to John ’s fellowship .
Varron ’s dead body was annihilated in conflict , but hatred has apparently kept him awake . Now that Varron is the Star Shroud , he seems to have broken away from the Radiant Dead ’s beehive mind . The Radiant Dead are doing whatever they can to claim John ’s dead body for their leader . But the Star Shroud isalmost singularly focused on make Green Lantern ’s family sustain . Green Lantern has look a lot of scary terror before ( just take a smell at the members of the Sinestro Corps ) . But the Star Shroud and his decision to terrify Stewart ’s kinsfolk get to Varron a far shivery threat .
Can Green Lantern Stop the Star Shroud?
Unfortunately for John ’s mother , Green Lantern is preoccupy fight the Radiant Dead ’s loss leader , Olgrun , leaving no one to finish the last , yet hefty remnants of Varron . gratefully , Shirley has Ellie with her , which might help keep Shirley safe until John is back . Green Lantern ’s already defeat Varron once and while the Star Shroud seems mighty , it ’s nothing the all - powerful Emerald Knight ca n’t treat . Shirley just has to hold on a little bit longer and wait forGreen Lanternto dispatch his terrifying rival once and for all .
