The Riddler has n’t been amajor player in Batman recently , but he has been in the shadows , appear now and again to on the face of it set up something peachy . The Riddler was one of the few people put into a machine by Daniel Captio to make the Riddler into something more — but what that fee-tail , we have n’t precisely seen yet . But I think it could pass to a massive modification in the character , thanks to Modern detail from theBatman#155 ingathering , which is part of the same trial as Riddler ’s most late visual aspect .

I reckon that theRiddler has always been one of Batman ’s more underrated villains . He ’s hyper - intelligent and always has a caper up his arm . The only matter Riddler has really lacked is his ability to break detached from his need to leave behind clues and resource to truly fulfill what he wants . If the Riddler does become the new Court leader , both of these trouble are secure , as he would have the full resources of the Court of Owls . And , ever since being commute by Captio ’s machine , he seems much more challenging and driven . With the Court of Owls under his command , theRiddler would have everything he needsto predominate Gotham City .
The Court of Owls have dedicate themselves to destroying Bruce Wayne ’s living .
Another major clew that makes me thinkthe Riddler is the next bountiful Court threatis that he knows exactly who Batman is . While theCourt of Owls is a major secret societyand likely knew who Bruce was , they never seemed to go after Bruce Wayne specifically ( with the only exception being the invasion of Wayne Manor duringNight of the Owls ) . Even still , that was more to toss off Batman and not necessarily ruin anything interrelate to Bruce Wayne . The solicitation reveals that the Court of Owls have dedicated themselves to destroying Bruce Wayne ’s spirit , and it seems they ’re doing so under the counselling of the Riddler .

Currently , the major riddle I have yet to puzzle out is precisely how the Riddler bring in ascendance over the Court of Owls . With his intelligence , it would n’t be difficult for him to give away the surreptitious companionship , but on the nose why they would decide to begin taking orders from him is unknown . The Court of Owls has never had great leading , with their leader mostly being nameless characters that are never hand their time to shine . It ’s potential that DC finally realise the way to make the Court of Owls suffer out more is to hitch them to an iconicBatmanvillain — like theRiddler .
