Henry Alonso Myers : It ’s a very unique rendering of Kirk . One that we have not examine on the show before . And all of our histrion get to do thing that we ’ve never assure them do .

Rebecca Romijn : It was a really particular experience . When we wind that episode , [ Jonathan Frakes ] and I were on the same flight going home that weekend , which was delayed , so I start out to listen to him talk about it for three hours , how it was his favorite hour of television that he ’s ever directed .
